Greetings! Just a quick reminder that tomorrow, May 15th is a 1:30 dismissal for students. Also, the last day of school, Monday, May 20th is a 1:30 dismissal. Have a great evening!

Attention!! Starting June 2nd; for all girls and boys going into 4th-6th grade interested in basketball, there will be a “3 on 3” League on Sunday Nights at 6:00 PM. The plan is 15 minutes of instruction, then 3 on 3 competition to follow for about 30 minutes. There is NO sign-up and NO cost! Come if you want to “ball it up!” with high school athletes and coaches.

There will be an OI Summer Program Athlete/Parent Meeting Tuesday May 14, 2024 at 7:00 pm in the GHS New Gym. OI representative Colby Orts and Program Instructors Katie Klapprodt & Nathan Simmonds will be available to explain the summer program objectives and answer your questions. The last opportunity for 6-11 students to take their Physical at GHS for the 2024-2025 School Year is Tuesday May 14, from 9:00-1:00. The cost of each physical is $25.00 (make check payable to Garretson High School). Forms are available in the High School Office, or you may print them from our school website under Documents/Athletics. Athletic Screening Form must be filled out and signed before the Physical. Tuesday May 14, 2024 The Golf Team will be attending the Deubrook Invitational at Six Mile Creek Golf Course at White, SD...10:00 am. This Meet was just recently added to the schedule.

The Big East Conference JH Track Meet scheduled for Monday May 6, 2024 at Garretson has been POSTPONED and RESCHEDULED to Wednesday May 8, 2024. Field Events begin at 10:00 am followed by the Running Events at 11:00 am.

Tonight Dragons on the MOVE wrapped up its first season. Wow, the last few weeks went fast! Thank you to everyone for making this first year so amazing! A very big shout out to everyone who came to help, we couldn't have done it without you. We hope to see you all Saturday for the Glow Run! Otherwise, we hope everyone joins again next year! Some fun activities going on in GHS classes this morning. Seniors have a mock trial. Freshman are creating their own food truck in collaboration with Food Science class!

Ms. Danforth's 5th grade class just completed five days of learning at Starbase in Sioux Falls.

Garretson will be attending the Chester Track Meet Tuesday April 30, 2024. Field Events begin...9:00 am, and Running Events...10:00 am.
